Cursillo Movement

Cursillo is pronounced (Kur-see-oh). The Cursillo is a movement of Christian renewal. The Cursillo weekend helps religious and lay people form a deep awareness of the treasures and responsibility of their faith. Talks are given and discussed in an atmosphere of joy and sharing. Mass is celebrated daily. The Sacrament of reconciliation is offered. There is time for private and group prayer and meditation. The goal of the weekend is to give those who make it a deeper understanding of Jesus Christ the basic Christian truth’s, and the desire to serve the Church. After the weekend, there is the opportunity to join with other Cursillo friends meeting in small groups to support each other on their life long faith journey. The weekends are held every spring and fall.
